What Broker Facts "Pupils" have to say!

We have been overwhelmed, in only the most positive sense of the word, by the wonderful e-mails we have received from Broker Facts "Pupils". We have received far too many such testimonial e-mails to be included on this web site. So we have selected seven for inclusion here that we believe represent three Broker Facts "Pupils" from seven very different segments of American Society.

Subj:    Your programs
From:   Douglas Malcom
To:    warren@stockbroker-employment.com

Dear Warren,

I recently purchased both sets of your programs, Broker Facts and The Art of the Sale. As a veteran of 20 years in the insurance industry, I can tell you that I have listened to hundreds of sales, motivational and training programs over the years, and your programs rank among the best. Your succinct, no nonsense approach to the financial services industry, whether discussing how to obtain an interview with a brokerage house or how to land your first big sale, is right on the mark. I would highly recommend purchase of Broker Facts and The Art of The Sale to anyone who is seriously interested in a career in the financial services industry. These programs will provide a great roadmap for their success.

Best Regards,

Douglas Malcolm, MBA

Subj:    Thanks for the "jump start"!
From:   Edward Haser
To:    warren@stockbrokeremployment.com

Warren,

Thank you for jump starting my career. Your programs helped me get off to a faster start than any other rookie in my office. I grossed fifteen thousand dollars in commissions in my second month!

Also thank you for answering all of my questions about the different aspects of this business. After a few failed attempts to find a firm that "fit my personality" I thought I would give up on getting into the business for good. Then I listened to your tapes and realized that I was looking in all of the wrong places. My decision to start again was the best one that I ever made. Thank you!!!

Subj:    What a wonderful program!
From:   Reggie C
To:    warren@stockbroker-employment.com

Dear Warren,

I just wanted to thank you for creating such wonderful programs. They gave me all the information I needed to ace all my interviews with all the major brokerage houses within the New York City and New Jersey area. Being a former Retail Manager and a Head Hunter certainly helped me get in the front door, but my solid sales background wasn't enough to actually land the position as a Stock Broker. Listening to your program gave me all the tools I needed to prepare me for a very long interview process. I received the job offer at American Express on Sept. 15 and I'm currently studying for my series 7 exam. Thank you once again!

Subj: Thanks!!!!
From: David Gray
To: warren@stockbroker-employment.com

Warren,

I just wanted to say thanks! Your programs helped me considerably during the interview process. Prior to purchasing your programs, I interviewed with five of the major wirehouses and each one said "Thanks but no Thanks!" So, after a day of listening to your tapes, I set up three more interviews.  I was the one who decided which one I wanted to work for, after being accepted by all three!

It still amuses me that after 15 years of sales experience, with 6 of those in finance and always in the top 5 as salesman of the year, the reason the first 5 firms gave for not hiring me was an aptitude test on my sales ability.

Your program alone gave me more of an insight into the industry than any book I have read.    Thanks again for the info and wish me luck. I take my series 7 test Wed. July 15th.

Gratefully Yours,

David J. Gray

Incidentally... since sending us this email, David has reported to us that he passed his series 7 examination.

Subj: I knocked em dead!!!!
From: Kimberly Cyr
To: warren@stockbroker-employment.com

Dear Warren,

After listening to your first program repeatedly, I had five interviews with Smith Barney (Robinson Humphrey Branch). On June 19th, I started my first day with them. I am currently studying, studying and studying to take my Series 7.

I had an hour drive to my last interview with this company whose corporate office is in Atlanta. On the way up, I reviewed your tapes one last time.

I was so "pumped up" for the interview, I knocked em dead! I even used a couple of your lines with a little improvisation. My favorite was, "Do you want me working for you or your competitor down the road?" The look on their faces was priceless!!! I was interviewed by four stockbrokers in the Atlanta office and received thumbs up from all four.

I was hired on by the Montgomery, AL office and I love it so far. It's going to be a lot of hard work but I'm sure it will be worth it.

Thanks again for following up with me. I will be purchasing your newest program.

Subj: Thanks for the FACTS!

Joe Pendino

Dear Warren:

I found your Broker Facts program inspirational and informative. Like you, I wanted to be a Rock Star but I did become the best rock bass player in the Rochester NY area. But, unlike you, I went into the music retail business and became a store manager in just two years. I worked hard to be the best but success was based on the performance of others, not just myself.

Next, I went to night school and acquired a degree in Electrical Technology and graduated with High Honors. I am currently employed by Eastman Kodak and have been for 16 years. In industry, you are only as good as your education and that's as far as you can go.

But now, as you may know, we are in the middle of another downsizing (which have occurred every 3 years since 1983) and I am ready for a change. I have realized that my greatest strength is my ability to deal with people and now is the time to put it to work. In addition, I have always followed business news such as Money Line and Wall Street week but I thought that you needed a business degree to be a stockbroker.

I think you are right on when you said that people prefer a stockbroker that they like. When I was growing up, my family owned an auto repair business, which was very successful. We had a lot of return customers, not because my father was a great mechanic, but because he was good to people and well liked.

I want to thank you for the FACTS you have presented on your program.

Sincerely,

Joe Pendino

Subj: I can't thank you enough!!
From: Jim Passias, M. D.
To: warren@stockbroker-employment.com

Dear Warren:

I am a fourty-three year old physician. I graduated from medical school in 1982. In October, I decided to begin investigating what it would take to become a stockbroker. In December I resigned my position in the medical profession.

While searching the Internet, I came across Broker Facts. I immediately ordered the program.

While applying for positions as a stockbroker, I studied the program thoroughly. The program gave me great insight into what it takes to be a successful broker. The chapters on the Direct and Indirect method of entering the field helped me to decide which approach would be best for me. Also, the positives and negatives of joining large versus small firms was very helpful. Perhaps the best chapters of Broker Facts... A Guide for the Aspiring Stockbroker were the chapters on getting the interview and questions to expect during an interview. In addition, the questions to ask on the interview were very helpful.

Warren, you used Broker Facts as your instrument, preparing me totally for my interviews. Your program helped my confidence immensely. With your help and the help of your program, I was able to obtain employment with the firm of my choice. I cannot imagine having gone through this process without the help of Broker Facts.

I am looking forward to a successful career thanks to Broker Facts!

Thanks for everything!!!

Jim Passias

This particular individual prefers to remain anonymous. He was a blue collar worker before purchasing our program.  He went on to land a job at Prudential Securities with a guarantee of $3000 per month for his first two years.    Following are two subsequent updates he sent to us:

"Warren, It's been a while since my last email. With good reason. Since we last "chatted", I got a 92 on my series 7, a week later I got a 90 on my series 63, two weeks after that, I got an 84 on my series 65. Now I'm going for my series 3 (futures). That is not necessary but I want it. Next week Prudential is sending me to college for a week and a half for my insurance license so I can sell annuities. In May, they are sending me to N.Y.C. for three weeks training.

Still looking for your program on selling!"

UPDATE E-MAIL

"Warren, It's great to see you got the new program done on selling.    I'm placing my order online right now and looking forward to listening to "The Art of The Sale". I just finished my fourth week in production and I opened my first account, a little over $300,000! I found a prospect cold calling that I met with twice so far. A million dollar account! I cold called her on Thursday, met with her in the office the next Monday and again that Wednesday. Looks good!"

I'll e-mail you after I listen to your new program.
